What we collect when you request a quote, why we collect it, and how it's used.
ProHaul Auto Transportation ("ProHaul," "we," "us") operates as a lead generation service for the auto transport industry, connecting people who need a vehicle shipped with carriers and brokers who can provide pricing and arrange a move. This page explains what information we collect through our quote form and site, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
By submitting the quote form on this site, you agree to the practices described here. If anything is unclear, the fastest way to get an answer is to call us directly — see Contact us below.
When you request a quote, we ask for only what's needed to get you pricing from carriers and brokers in our network:
We do not ask for payment information or government ID through this form. If a carrier or specialist ever requests that kind of information, it happens later in the booking process — never as part of getting a quote.
Like most websites, basic technical information (such as browser type, device type, and general location inferred from IP address) may be logged automatically for security and site performance purposes. We don't use this to build advertising profiles.
As described below, we provide your information to multiple third-party carriers and brokers so they can contact you directly with pricing and availability. This may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under certain state privacy laws.
When you submit a quote request, your name, phone number, email address, and shipment details are provided to multiple third-party auto transport carriers and brokers, not just one matched carrier. Those companies may contact you directly to offer their own pricing and services. In exchange, those companies compensate ProHaul for the lead.
Some state privacy laws (including California's) define this kind of distribution as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, regardless of whether money changes hands directly. We're disclosing it as such here.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to opt out of this sale/sharing. See Your choices below for how to do that.
ProHaul operates as a lead generation service for the auto transport industry. When you submit a quote request, we share your contact information and shipment details with multiple carriers and brokers in our network — not a single matched provider — so that they can reach out to you with their own pricing and availability.
This means you may be contacted by more than one company after submitting the form. These companies are independent businesses, not ProHaul employees or agents, and each is responsible for its own pricing, service, and handling of your information once they receive it.
We do not independently verify the licensing or insurance status of every carrier or broker who may receive a lead through our network. If that matters to you, ask any company that contacts you directly for their USDOT number and proof of insurance before booking.
If you don't want your information distributed to carriers and brokers as described above, you have two options:
We will not discriminate against you (for example, by charging different prices or providing a lower level of service) for exercising this right.
By submitting the quote form, you consent to be contacted by phone, text message, and email by ProHaul and by the multiple third-party carriers and brokers who receive your information as described above. This may include calls or texts made using automated dialing or messaging systems, and you may hear from more than one company.
These companies are independent of ProHaul and are not acting as our agents. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase — you can always call (800) 555-0199 directly instead of submitting the form.
We retain quote and shipment information for as long as needed to provide our service, comply with legal and accounting obligations, and resolve any disputes. Information tied to a completed shipment is generally kept longer than an abandoned quote request, in line with standard recordkeeping practices for transportation brokers.
To exercise any of these, reach out using the contact details below. To prevent abuse, we may limit copy and deletion requests to a reasonable number per year per person.
Our services are intended for adults arranging vehicle shipments and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact us using the details below and we'll delete it.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you share with us. Our site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we limit access to personal information to what's needed to provide our service.
